Inspired by the well-known naval base of Devonport, our new range of Brass lighting pays homage to fittings found on naval ships. The vintage Devonport Bulkhead Light has a beautiful ribbed glass design and caged exterior perfect to fit singularly next to a doorway, in a conservatory or spaced around the exterior of the house.The heavy Brass exterior is extremely durable and weatherproof, hence its use on ships and boats. The fitting is IP65 rated and comes with an E27 bulb holder which will offer a beautiful expanse of light. We have left the material raw to allow the brass to darken over time. Due to this the light may display the brass patina known as Verdigris (green). This natural ageing process was our intention for this product. To keep the shiny appearance a good quality metal polish or wadding can be applied.Please note that due to export restrictions we are not currently able to deliver this product to mainland Europe.

The ribbed glass shade and caged front pays homage to traditional style lighting found on naval ships hence why we named the range after the iconic naval base in Plymouth.Brass fittings have been used on naval ships for their ability to withstand extreme conditions. This ensures that the light will be completely weatherproof even in coastal locations. The fitting is IP65 rated and will be extremely durable for years to come. The material has been left raw allowing it to dull and darken over time. This may eventually display the brass patina known as Verdigris which is green. The heavy duty, weatherproof material is extremely durable and has been tested to IP65 standard. Over time the shinier gold appearance will naturally dull and darken to a more antique finish.Nautical in style the Devonport is perfect for urban homes or to add an industrial touch to traditional abodes. We specifically love it used either side of a mirror in a contemporary bathroom, adding that finishing touch. The thick tubular arm leads to the cage that encases the glass shade.
